Introduction
"The Great Quest" is a fast-paced, competitive action adventure for 2-4 players, with each round lasting about 30 minutes. Players embody rival treasure hunters, venturing into treacherous wilderness. To claim the ultimate victory, they must outwit and outmaneuver their opponents, even resorting to sabotage if necessary.
Start Of The Game
Character Selections
Choose a Character to play as, each character provides different starting resources and unique abilities.
Tile Placement
Start from the corners of the map, place a map card tile and move pawn to explore an adjacent area.
Game Rules
Win Condition
Score point by collecting treasures, the highest scorer at the end of the game wins!
Exploration
Traverse through various terrains full of unique encounters. Different terrains have different types of obstacles or wild beast to conquer.
Survival
Gadget cards are useful for survivals, it manages hunger and health level. Some are weapons used during combat. Other tools can help against obstacles.
Strategy & Interaction
Strategized Actions
Function cards are common resources that provides income and sometimes special actions, strategize around playing function cards helps gain benefit through out the game.
Utilize Unique Abilities
Follower cards provide unique abilities to help gain advantage for survival, travelling, combats and so on.
Competition
Sabotage
Not only should the players race each other to the treasure, some cards allow players to sabotage others, taking resources, preventing actions and more. Therefore, it is important to keep an eye on opponents' actions.
Randomness
Immersion
All terrains have their own specialties, a hot desert with rattle snakes or a rain forest with swamps, they provide distinctive experience to players to enhance the immersion, with an addition of random events that helps keeping things fresh through play sessions.
